UNC Charlotte’s women’s program officially gets underway on February 8 when the 49ers will play their season opener against Gardner Webb University at home. The Niner’s 16-game schedule features nine home games at UNC Charlotte’s Jerry Richardson Stadium (where admission is free for all fans!)
It may be the team’s first season, but no one’s taking it easy on the Niners. They face 2024 Atlantic Sun Conference Champions Coastal Carolina on the road for their third game on Valentine’s Day. The schedule also includes home games against Vanderbilt, East Carolina, California, and a special cross-town showdown against Davidson as part of the Crown Lacrosse Classic. Lots of luck to the Niners on their inaugural season!
